Whilst at Swan Publishing in the UK, I often worked with the design department when editing on screen and so forth, and was always so careful not to bugger with anything coz the layout seemed so involved, and balanced. As part of my RMIT course, I undertook a module in Magazine Desktop Publishing which removed a bit of the mystery in regards to Quark. Then along came Sensis with Photoshop training, which allowed me to be a bit more creative with 'art'. Finally, a culmination of both came with a role as a graphic designer at Evolution Publishing - first and foremost the advertising designer, but occasionally assisting with editorial layout. The fruits of both labours can be seen below.
