MCV 257 – United We Dance
United We Dance
Never thought you’d hear Big Brother and unity in the same sentence? Think again, compadre.
This Sunday, United We Dance throws its fourth party at The Market. The clue’s in the title, and if you didn’t know already you would’ve probably guessed that this is a celebration of Melbourne’s gay and lesbian cultural diversity; a time for all people to come together and get down or just chill out in a sociable, open environment.
Overseeing over the festivities will be none other than Big Brother’s Vesna. Fresh from her appearance in the show, she’s going to be appearing at United We Dance and, fingers crossed, uniting and dancing – maybe even at the same time. She’s not the only drawcard though, as there’ll be a free drink for you on arrival and a section of international finger foods, all to a soundtrack of dance and international music, including live performances.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, here’s the icing on the cake – all proceeds are being donated to Bent TV. And they couldn’t be happier. As Jayson Grool, president of Bent TV said, "What a fantastic event when our community comes together to celebrate something that we all enjoy and unites us as a whole. Bent TV is so proud that we have been chosen to receive the proceeds which in turn benefit our community. Bent TV brings alternative viewing to the masses and with the proceeds we will continue to do so with new studio equipment and stage sets. As the President of Bent TV, thank you."
United We Dance @ The Market, 6:30pm-late Sunday December 4. $7 entry.
